Electricians Michael Bell and DuRay Jones came to work at Facilities Management optimistic for the future.

Bell even abandoned a higher-paying job, hopeful he’d be able to get a marketing degree with his employee benefits.

But he never got the chance.

For Bell and Jones, the past several years have been fraught with anguish, exhaustion and stress. It’s the result of countless hours invested in fighting back against what they consider a discriminatory environment at their department, and it’s come to occupy nearly every part of their lives, at times fraying relationships with family members and placing their mental health in jeopardy.
