What to watch for Maryland: Big East? More like Big Least

Dating back to 2013, Maryland is undefeated in its last four matchups against Big East opponents, including a win against Butler last season. With the non-conference loss to Virginia earlier this year, it will be critical for the Terps to continue their Big East winning ways against another Big East team in Seton Hall, a team coming off three straight NCAA tournament appearances, in order to bolster their tournament resume.

What to watch for Seton Hall: Three-point Shooting

Both Seton Hall and Maryland have struggled at times this season from beyond the arc, with the Pirates shooting just over 32 percent, compared to the Terps’ 33 percent. In Seton Hall’s three losses, the Pirates have failed to even make a quarter of their threes, with an especially dreadful 2-for-16 day against Nebraska. However, Seton Hall upset Kentucky by making 42.3 percent of its threes against Wildcats. Seton Hall won’t normally light you up behind the arc, but just ask Kentucky what can happen when the Pirates have a good game shooting from deep.
