Student Entertainment Events sent an email Friday morning including personal information of ticket holders for the upcoming Art Attack concert that night.

The email, sent at 8:48 a.m., began with a picture of Maryland Stadium undergoing preparations for the concert, which will feature 2 Chainz and Ty Dolla Sign and is set to begin at 7 p.m.

Attached to the email was a spreadsheet containing the names, addresses, emails and ticket information for about 3,664 ticket holders.

In a follow-up email sent at 9:18 a.m., SEE coordinator Laura Hood asked recipients to delete the previous message.

“We are aware of the email sent at 8:48am had an attachment that was accidentally included. Please delete the previous email,” Hood wrote. “We are working UMD OIT to rectify the situation.” The same message was posted on Twitter following a tweet from The Diamondback about the spreadsheet.

SEE public relations director Chelsea Hanson issued a statement about the incident.

“SEE deeply regrets any inconvenience caused by the Art Attack update email transmission sent in error this morning,” Hanson wrote in an email.

SEE declined to provide any additional comment on the situation.
